I'm new to Central Illinois out of Lake County Illinois my career span since I was 12 years old starting in the roof in the construction business when torch down modified roofing was invented in Europe and brought to the states and we were like the first pioneer started using his stuff and over the years I hold my skills and framing new custom homes and restaurants and blue print rendering roof truss specialist Decks fences garages gazebos you name it exterior interior residential / commercial anything I'm almost 58 years old and can build a two-car garage by myself within 10 days complete siding roofing metal capping everything and for 10 minutes this man drove away from possibly one of the best guys in the country and can possibly make you hundreds of thousands of dollars in the next couple of years by himself and for 10 minutes you showed no compassion to wait for business because of why? Because my name is jose? I think you're a Donald Trump racist Pig I wouldn't want to work for people like you anyways because I'm better than you I see the craftsmanship down here in Central Illinois you people are garbage down here my reputation speaks for itself I am out of Lake County Illinois they know who I am. I would have came in this company and gave you my all and for 10 minutes you chewed me up and spit me out like nothing I hope your company fails for that attitude 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡From an inner city Gangbanging youth. To one of the best carpenters in the country that took a dead man's kids and made them beautiful citizens and society today God has shown me more compassion than you have whoever you are that owns this company. Promax painted the inside of my house with care, covering everything with plastic, and completed the job in a timely fashion. Just call them and they are ready to serve your needs!Highly recommend Promax!
The owner of ProMax construction promptly met me to quote the work that I needed done. The quote given to me was more than fair in comparison to other local businesses. I was assisted on several occasions by friendly staff and the work was scheduled and completed quickly with no issues. I was kept in the loop before, during, and after renovations and it looks great!

Professionals all the way ^_^ In response to a hail storm in March 2024, we had two different companies give us estimates, but there was no response from either company when it came to signing a contract. Promax was the third company we called, and 3 times was indeed a charm. They came out right away, worked with the original insurance assessment, and did all the necessary work in a timely manner for the amount the insurance covered.
I have used Promax for everything from roof, siding, windows and fencing to drywall and painting. Every job has been done beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend. A+
I worked with Promax Construction on several project around my house over the past few years, and was really happy with the crew they brought in. The workers were reliable, skilled, and easy to have around. They did a solid job and paid attention to the details, which I appreciated. Overall, a good experience thanks to the great team on site.
Where do I start?! This is a fabulous company! John is the general contractor and he's very easy to work with. In the past, we've used ProMax for storm damage, a new roof, work on our shed and most recently they painted several rooms in our home. They sent out a crew of three and we are thrilled with their work. In two and a half days, they moved and covered our furniture, patched the ceiling cracks, painted the trim, ceilings, walls, and put furniture back where it belonged plus they cleaned up afterwards! We will definitely be using ProMax in the future!
We had a terrific experience with ProMax from start to finish. John the general contractor was excellent! He is always pleasant, thoughtful, and accommodating of our needs for my mom’s house, which were quite specific. The subcontractors John brought in to fix various portions of my mom’s house were professional, kind and sweet people, and super easy to work with. In short we felt comfortable and were able to trust them in our home and to do good work. We needed many different types of repairs: roofing, plumbing, electrical, flooring, drywall, deep cleaning, and landscaping. John figured how to get it all done within 2-3 months so my mom could move back in. He finished on time as promised. Highly recommend working with John and ProMax!
Promax was great! They came through in a clutch for my mom. John was open and sensitive to what she was going through and made good on everything that was promised. The roofing repair was quick and all questions and concerns were answered promptly. Five Star service!!
